I agree.... but can I be totally honest with you? Without attempting to be judgmental whatsoever.....
But I see just as many people today, my age and older (50+ years old), rude and ill mannered as I do young adults these days. And perhaps (?!) That's part of the reason why some kids today behave the way they do, act the way they do.
Went to the local Outback for lunch a few weeks back. Sat at the bar. Every other word coming out of the mouths that I heard sitting alongside me was profanity. Not from young kids, but from guys my age. They made no effort to show some means of respect to the people sitting on either side.
I've been taken to task here on a few occasions in the past for my army-days potty mouth. I am not, whatsoever in a position to throw stones! Although I didn't take that criticism personally, I did take it to heart, and have tried to be more respectful with my posts since. And sometimes I fail miserably.
But I will never forget something my momma taught me many years ago. "Don't use language in public that you wouldn't use at my dinner table."
Good 'ol Mom.....
