Not sure if anyone here remembers Allen Doyle's golf swing. To say that his swing was abbreviated would be an understatement.... it was as though he learned how to swing a golf club in his bedroom closet. But as short as his backswing was, he still managed to win 11 times on the Champions Tour, including 1 senior PGA Championship, 1 senior Player's Championship, and 2 senior US Opens ('05 and '06).
If you'd been on a warmup range partnered up with this guy back in the early-mid 2000's, you'd gladly give him 2 per side and take your chances. And you would've gotten your ass kicked two ways to Texas.
Dude won a lot of money with that hockey-ish golf swing. His hands were incredible... what made him so good during that time is that he hit the center of the club face and was a very good putter.
The video below is fuzzy, but still worth checking out.
