Typhoon For some reason they popped up in a discussion. Damn, those were nice looking irons and the DG pro shafts were flighted. Not the vr...the ones with the lime green Nike swoosh on the back. The Vapor pro combo. Anyone here ever have them?
Typhoon mulegolf Although I'm pretty sure Rickochet posted a tutorial on boring out hosels, I'm still not confident in myself doing it.
mulegolf I've also heard of people lightly sanding a taper onto a graphite shaft, though I've never tried it. I'm not sure I'd trust it myself but others claim it works. I'm guessing that you would have to have shafts with not a very large diameter hole in the middle (so there would be more graphite material around the hole) so you didn't make the wall too thin. Maybe you could get a shaft and try sanding it and epoxy it in place to try it before doing more than one? Or... pay a clubmaker to bore out the hosels... Still, the best route would likely be to purchase tapered shafts.
Tinker Have a set of Henry Hatton forged combo irons from DTG and other than cosmetics look like the same head stamping
