Sneakylong .....if you were one of the greatest in the world at whatever line of work you do and were paid millions of dollars, you'd still work 48-50 weeks a year simply because if you didn't,...….
Well, after all, it is my job. Hired to be there to work, and to work (at this point in time) 48 weeks/year. Money is not what we are discussing, so the millions you mention mean nothing in the conversation.
And again, for those with impaired reading comprehension, my above schedule was for reference only. No brag, no bitching. It was my job and I was doing it. Every week. For 10 months. Then I took a 2 week vacation. I do not work for 2-3 weeks, then take 2-3 weeks off because "I'm tired/burnt out".
Sneakylong If we're going to brag at how hard we all work then the most my wife and I did was 60 days in a row (10 / 12 hour days). Top that.
I could go back a couple years to the point of working 10/1 -12/25, 12+ hr. days, with only Thanksgiving Day off. But I won't bother. It's not an 'endurance contest' discussion. Or, again, about money.
