Was on my way back from KY today from visiting my folks. Never saw a single cop car in KY, WV, or Maryland until I crossed the Maryland/PA border. Traffic was surprisingly light today, but I'm sure it'll be hectic tomorrow. But when I got into PA - it was like I'd then driven into a hornet's nest of police cars. Every 10 miles on the 100 mile stretch of Interstate 81 there was either a cop sitting in the median or on the shoulder writing out a ticket.
Just a word to the wise for those who may need to travel along 79 South from Morgantown, WV to Huntington, WV anytime soon.... they're in the process of doing major roadworks that entire stretch basically. Expect to be seriously delayed during rush hour. It's single lane and 55 mph much of the way.
Why they would put commuters through that type of prolonged inconvenience for what is basically 2+ hours is beyond me.
Everybody be safe!
