Thoughts?? I'm torn. It definitely looks more modern, but looks a little goofy at the same time.
A bit stark but the bold font penetrates the retina leaving a sharp impression. The message "for the people" is reinforced and convayed by that strong bold font.
I'm a fan anyway having had great service and the good products.
Flog the people?
Looks like a construction company logo.....golf for the people, a bit dramatic. Nothing about the logo or slogan would lead me to think it's a component company, but maybe that's the point? Enough to peak ones curiosity and clickity click!
It does look like a construction company logo, something you'd expect to see on the side of a pickup truck.
But no matter the logo, if the product is good and there's good customer service reputation - it really doesn't matter to the repeat customers.
Golf for the people? What does that even mean?
garyt1957 When I saw it I received it as golf for people of average means that can't afford the new OEM releases. The Democratic party is also using "For the people" as a slogan this year, but I don't think anyone would see any intentional relationship.
garyt1957 I think it means, like, you know, as opposed to golf for the cats. Or for the wallabees. Or something.
johnnydoom can't afford the new OEM releases.
I read it as the opposite of " OEM golf: We are in it for the money"
johnnydoom Yea, I thought the same, but you and I already know what Hireko is. What would somebody with no idea think?
Looks pretty awful to me. Nobody would know that logo was even an “H” if the rest wasn’t there to spell it out. It’s a fail in my book.
garyt1957 I don't know. The phrase historically has political class warfare associations, but I wouldn't assume a golf business meant it that way or that potential golf customers would see it that way. Personally I'd steer clear of the slogan, but I honestly don't think it will matter. I kind of like the logo though.
"Golf for the people"...................as opposed to golf for the Martians? Animals?
sdandrea1 golf for the Martians
I would love a Martian Driver! I bet they use something even better than Japanese Titanium.
Logo is pretty lifeless. Slogan is ok as they are one of the few component companies left. I guess we are fortunate that they are still in biz. But, compare their offerings to what they once were and they suck. If they want to interest the "people" they need to introduce some new products that are different from the boring OEM stuff that is becoming cheaper on Ebay.
My fairway woods are by Mars golf. They had some pretty good stuff, where affiliated with Tour Golf Products.
