The ho center in my brain has been reacctivated. I feel like FGI '09 all over again which I usually don't talk about because it's the personal financial great depression era of my life, too. Nevertheless, I've been thinking about playing a lot and why I was nowhere near as good a putter as I used to be. Of course, practice has a lot to do with that, but I also used to have a putter with a style of grip I've never had on any other putter, and I've tried many.
My old Northwestern Napa had a hard rubber grip that was round 3/4 of the way around but was flat on the shaft and I used to align my thumbs there.
Do they still make such a grip? Is it legal? I really want to try putting with that hard thinner grip with the flat surface for my thumbs.
Where can I find one?
