Teed it up today with Ode (Chad) at Washington County Golf Course in Wisconsin. Fun links style course and it was in great shape. Went out for craft beer afterwards. Doesn't get much better than that!
Playing with FGIers
Glad you had fun Jay....it was good seeing you again....and always fun talking components and all things golf with an old school FGI'er!
For those of you who get to the Milwaukee area, Washington County is a must play.....super fun and playable, in great condition and visually beautiful links style course.
And the brews were good....nice meeting your wife and daughter, two girls who like beer, gotta love that!

Great to see an old-school pink Aldila NVS (or NV?) in that driver!

Thanks for sharing, glad you had a good day.
Its Always an enjoyable time connecting with forum members....have teed it up with Hobbit and DC300 this season and will get to play with 15-20 more at Desert Storm in a few months.
Nice pic! Sounds like you guys had a banner day!
HybridWood that's an NV 85, R flex, on a Cobra f6. Love that shaft. Jay has a few of the pink nv's too!
It's been a while since I've teed it up with an FGI'er (save for The Kintuckee Kid). Man, every time was a great experience with great company and awesome camaraderie. Some folks shared good cigars, some shared good Scotch (BlaiseX) and some just shared some fine times. Also, have meant some truly wonderful, salt of the earth folks. (Don't mind me. I'm in a good mood tonight. I've come to realize that the abomination of ice and Single Malt Scotch has it's limits and over 90 degrees with 90% humidity makes the uncouth couth - not that "couth" is a word.)
Thanks for sharing the good times and photo.
kenner Yes, I believe the Scotch was typing at that time. LOL
You guys are kind. No one made fun of our hats!
Given the occurrences of skin cancer that strikes golfers, particularly on the arms, hands and ears....
As a buddy of mine once said (after showing up wearing a bucket hat), "It's kinda hard to get laid if you don't have ears."
Indeed. Take the time. Bucket hats are great to shield the face/ears/neck from the UV rays, which do lead to skin cancer.
I've played golf with some other FGIers too, both here in my area and else where.
