Wasn't a huge fan of Aske, didn't really interact with him all that much because he just seemed to be a bit over-the-top. I do remember him being a huge Steelers fan, however, and him being the bane of Professor's existence back then. lol
And Lars Vegas... he was one funny dude. He wasn't exactly a frequent poster, but when he did drop in and make a post - everybody read and loved the humor of his contributions.
@Rickochet - I remember Phineas Toad very well. I remember him being a very kind soul and never having anything negative to say about anyone. As far as Cliff (Persimmon) I kept up with him on FB for several years. He seemed to be well and enjoying life. Same with Blader and Jderion, and I can assure you they're not one in the same. Several years ago they ventured up to my neck of the woods and I enjoyed a round of golf with them.
And Gwog! I still email Nick (Gwog) from time to time. He had a pretty nasty fall while working at his golf club (where he taught for a number of years) and ended up doing some major damage to his knee/shoulder. Nick has a heart of gold, was/is a phenomenal golf instructor. He headed up the short-game clinic where he worked for most of the latter part of his career, won some awards, had an uncanny ability to communicate the golf swing to his students. He helped me develop my short game on more than one occasion when I'd either travel up there to play with him or he would come down here to play with me. He's not sure that he'll ever compete again in the local pro tournaments because of his injuries, so he's kinda bummed. But.. he tries to stay busy with his woodworking hobby.
So many others.... not sure how many remember KBaird and his untimely passing. That caught a lot of us off guard. Reddog, Mcburbn, lowpro, thewitt, etc... Duvalfan?
Brings back lots of memories
