Otey Crisman Putters

A few older brass models of these putters have caught my eye.

Wanted to buy with the intention of putting it in play. My big worry is about head weight. A lot of the older putters are super light with a small sweet spot.

Has anyone ever owned one of these? What is your experience?

Way too light, putter head was not stable, got rid of it asap.

I've admired Oteys on Ebay for a long time. But any time I've picked one up in a proshop to try, they didn't feel
like putters today do. Don't know if it's the wooden shaft or if the head's too light for the shaft, but I didn't think
they had much feel to them. I don't even know if they're in business anymore. Might look nice hanging above your mantle though......
