Since I have finished my Wishon 770CFE single length project, figured I'd offer up this earlier labor-intensive project of mine where I adapted the Maltby Gilder S irons for single length. 5-iron is 28° and all clubs are spaced 4° down to the GW at 52°.
As you can see from the pics, it consists of the Maltby Glider S irons with varying stages of modifications to each head.
The 5-9 irons have Golfsmith hosel port weights epoxied in the cavity, while some material was removed from the PW and GW using a grinding wheel. Final weight of each head was/is 280.3 g - 281.4 g. Lie angle was adjusted to 64° and playing length of the 6-GW is 36.375" with Lamkin X-10 grips and 47 gram Clevis pins for backweighting.
The 5-iron has a Golf Pride Velvet midsize grip and measures ~ 1/8" shorter as it does not have the Clevis pin. If desired, I can include another 47 gram Clevis pin and Lamkin X-10 grip.
All clubs are shafted with the Maltby Ltech 55i irons in firm flex (senior flex). There is minimal face wear but nothing too extensive.
Looking for $99 plus actual shipping.
