Prefer Diamana Red or NVS, but open to suggestions. New or pull ok. Untipped or tipped for 3W. Whatcha got?
Bankshot
I have NVS pink pulls. Diamana Red R in my Titleist fw woods...................
What'cha building?
What flex?
ode What flex?
Rick Shields and sneaky say flex is insignificant, and Bankshot agrees lol 😉
Spuzz
Fake News. For some, those Brits sound all alike anyway. Hint. Mark Crossfield and others (not Shiels though) have shown with radar that flex may not be as important as many think. Don't believe I ever gave my own opinion. But why let facts get in the way of taking a shot.
LOL! Ooops, R flex, please. 🙃
I would recommend the DTG FGS Plus Electric wood shaft. It definitely launches high. I did a review as well lol https://www.diamondtour.com/golf-components/club-shafts/fgs-plus-electric-wood-shaft.html
Spuzz Yea, a lot of love for that shaft in that thread, IIRC. I'll take a peak.
potbunker Hey Steve, I picked up a G15 3W in the spring with a 83 gram Diamana Blue in it. Just too darn heavy of a shaft. So as long as I'm going to replace it, I thought I'd go with a Red to maybe find a little higher launch.
I have a dvs 70 r flex, pull from a driver, no tipping, has a ust softtouch midsize grip on it. $17 shipped.
ode Thanks, ode. That's a great offer and I'll keep it in mind while I see what else might be out there. I'll let you know.
ode If bankshot doesn't want that shaft, I'll take it off you hands.
mgrin Im sayin' no for now, so its fair game! 😎
mgrin msg sent
I have a NVS R-flex that is cut for a 3w......currently attached to a Callaway XR16 Pro 3w. LMK if you are interested with a PM if possible. It was just installed from a new blank...
Dan
Eguller Hey Dan, did you do the install or know who did? Im curious how much the shaft was tipped. Also, how much $?
Can't seem to send you a PM....send an email to me at: dhylton65 at comcast dot net.
Thanks.
Eguller Looks like i need .350 tip. I assume yours is ,335, true? maybe my questions are moot, no?
Hey OP, just an fyi if you didn't know already, those g15s need .350 shafts....
shokosugi Wow! No, I didnt know that. Thanks for the heads up!
Shoot me an email to discuss, but yes, the one I have is a .350 shaft.
No prob. You can always use a shim or make a homemade one for a .335 shaft- I'm sure someone here can give guidance
shokosugi Thanks. I've used shims on several occasions but prefer to find the correct size shaft if possible.
