Best of both worlds for alot of people are the Odyessey #7 slant neck and the TM Spider Tour...also the heel shafted slant neck with toe hang similiar to the Scotty Newport or Anser toe hang. They are for slight arc strokes but the mallet head seems to work well for both arc and SBST.

Typhoon I popped a Odyssey 7 slant putter in the bag last year. It's been great for me. I've always seemed to prefer putters with some toe hang, but I like the longer sightline a mallet can provide. It's nice that there are more and more toe hanging putter that aren't just blades these days.

Face on putting makes all the sense in the world. I tried it but just never got the hang of it, although I gave it a limited trial.

garyt1957 Gary I've been practicing and playing with the SmartPutter it's a much better way to putt for me the set up is the key along with the grip. There is no anchoring and it's a SBST stroke. Legal for all USGA and R&A.

I have used over the year a number of face forward putters. Positive Putter, reverse shafted Nivieus 400g long length and The Wonder Putter forerunner of the SmartPutter.
