Weirfan Not being a wimp, just wondering what the plans were before I spent 40 minutes driving up there. We got drenched down here in south Chandler, my front yard is like a lake, although it's just sprinkling lightly right now.

I'm en route, should be there in about 25 minutes.

Whooohooooo.....finally a Red Hat after all these years. Thanks to my partner Brandon for the victory yesterday. We'll do out best to defend the title next year.

Had a great time as usual.....good to see all the great people that makes this event what it is. Thanks to Rick for once again doing a great job. Got to play my annual round with Al....wouldn't be DS if I didn't.

Thanks to Pat for setting up the pre rounds the weekend before. Definitely want to go back to Rancho Manana to play it over.

Finally home, a few thoughts. It was a blast to be back to the desert! Thanks Rick for all your efforts. Great to see Ramers and JJ, also the others who I haven' t seen for about 9 or 10 years. Thanks Stvmst for everything. Got to meet many new participants, and made many new friends! Thanks Doug (KCHacker)for the great Saturday get together👍
Last, but certainly not least, thanks to Rick, Al, James, and Pat for the hospitality during the week, very much appreciated!
Hopefully, I can make it back next year. Cheers to all!

Had a great time as a DS first timer. Many thanks to Rick for organizing and to Rick, Al, Jamez and Pat for allowing me to share the house w/them - very generous. Courses were fun and really enjoyed meeting and putting a face to a name to so many FGI'ers/Golfbuzzer's who I've come to "know" over the years. Thanks to all for being so welcoming. To all my partners - sorry I couldn't contribute more. Also was great finally meeting Justin, the guy who started it all. And to Doug thank you for hosting us all on Saturday night and sorry for the gangbang comment. Congrats to all the winners - well played all. Hope I can make it next year and try and get myself that red hat!

What a great week, with a little extension.

Jamez thought of playing the GCU course upon our meet-up on Friday before we even checked into the house. What a great idea. Despite Al's thoughts, this redone of the Marivale course is an welcome addition. No matter what tee one plays, you Will encounter the traps that are prevalent. Greens were rough, yet quick enough.

Saturday was a meet-up at Las Sendas. Although I love the course, I just can't seems to play it too well. But it was the joining of CStricker. Glad to see an FGI'er., now Buzzer, join back into the fold.

Sunday was the playing at Whirlwind of the Devil's Claw course. The Hobbit has shown a few pictures. This also brought out a couple or more FGI'ers (Buzzers). Notably Kenner and Jack Z.

I will have to stop this post at this point as ....

What were we talking about prior to the last time that I didn't remember what we were talking about. ???

Congrats to the new champs 🙂
the returning champs turned in a respectable -7 under for a like 4 way tie for 2nd 🙂 with Pat hitting a phil-esqe chip from behind the green on 18 to about 4 feet.
Great to see everyone , hope to do it again next year 🙂
