Rickochet sdandrea1 True, there aren't enough little screws to go around. You bought them all, Bob...... Maybe a new slogan, "Where you get the most screwing we can do."
mulegolf Typhoon Mulegolf, don’t forget to tell Steve they are the best clubs you ever hit!! I won't get the XXIO driver until at least April 4th and then I don't know if I'll be able to use it until the covid 19 pandemic is over. No courses are open here and who knows when they will be. I have been looking at building a simulator set-up in my garage though, but probably won't get to it until next winter.
mulegolf sdandrea1 I still have dibs, right? 😈 Not for $12.... Bet I'll keep it, unless I buy another one. Just missed on the next Prime driver after this one. I bid $280 and it went for $285. Looking forward to seeing if it can move my TM M2 (2016) out of my bag.
mulegolf DonM mulegolf Be smooooooth. It’s like a tempo training club. That's the way I've always tried to swing and it became doubly important to me after my back surgeries. I should be able to swing smooth enough for the XXIO Prime. The only question in my mind is whether the regular flex shaft is what I need or not. I use a senior flex in my M2 most of the time. If my back is feeling really good I switch that out with a regular flex. Both are Fujikura PRO 50 shafts.
sdandrea1 mulegolf The only question in my mind is whether the regular flex shaft The regular flex shaft in that driver flexes like a fly rod.......
DonM mulegolf You’re fine. If you used the senior shaft you might hit yourself in the face in the follow through. 🙂
pvbear I had the XXIO 10 driver (blue head, not Prime), with their proprietary MP1000 shaft. Their stiff is similar to lightweight R-flex, so Prime being even less weight (shaft & overall), I would suspect their R-flex is similar to most A-flex...
sdandrea1 DonM You’re fine. If you used the senior shaft you might hit yourself in the face in the follow through. after hitting the R flex, I can't imagine what the senior flex plays like.
pvbear One clarification: the XXIO SR shaft is not a Senior Flex. They say it is a Stiff-Regular flex, which is supposedly in between S & R...
mulegolf My XXIO Prime 9 arrived this morning. sdandrea1 and DonM, you are right. The shaft is very flexible, more so than any senior shaft that I own. I think my swing is smooth enough that it should work for me though. I wish there was a course open somewhere near me. There has been a petition brought to the state asking that courses be allowed to open. I don't know if that will be successful. So far, I believe that courses in South Dakota can open if they want to (so far). If nothing opens up here by later next week I think I'll have to search for a course in eastern South Dakota and hope for the best flu wise. I also put a Fujikura Pro 53 senior shaft in my High Heat driver. I'm hoping that it will work better than the two I've tried so far (Fujikura Vista Pro and Matrix White Tie). I'm anxious to try that too.
