Definitely seems like a strange move if they do it. Lately though, quarterbacks are getting like running backs. They get injured often enough you can't really count on having the same one around much of the time. Maybe a generic offense with a platoon system at QB is coming?
Not a Browns fan, so I don't pay much attention to them. I used to wretch when Mike Pettine would talk with the press - he reminded me of bad corporate managers that didn't really want to assume responsibility for what they should be leading. Probably a good coach, but his use of buzzwords really made me hate him, and I don't even know him or much about him.
