Rickochet I got a pair of the Go Go Drive golf shoes in white. I haven't had white shoes in quite some time. Is there a protectant I can spray on them to keep mud from staining them?
White golf shoes? You silly, silly bastard...
I don't know about preventive options, but a Mr. Clean magic eraser sponge works incredibly well (you will be amazed) on firm materials like leather or synthetic-uppers on shoes. If you're talking a bottle white meshy material, cleaning will involve conventional soaking or the washing machine on delicate cycle.
Most of the dust/mess I get on my white shoes on dry days wipes right off of the firm upper, even with out the magic eraser.
White is such a clean, sharp look. But golf is a dirty game for shoes.
Reminds me of those days when wearing some nice light colored pants and taking a healthy divot in a moist fairway. The regret is strong, and swift.
