scotts33 - I appreciate you looking up that video and posting it.
Years ago, a buddy in the DFW area passed his trainer club on to me. His golf pro/coach built it for him from a fishing rod and put a small (3 wood?) head and grip on it. I haven't pulled it out of the garage now in a few years but I need to do it again. Until seeing this video, I simply used it occasionally pre-round on the range to slow my swing down and I simply concentrated on making solid contact. These drills in the video are really good and gives me a new purpose to work with it more seriously.
Interesting side note: I used it on the range before a tournament played under the Rules of Golf and stuck it back in my bag after I finished. We were getting ready to head to our assigned starting hole and the proshop staff went through the cart lineup and counted everyones clubs. I was told I had to remove it and not put it in the cart's basket so I rushed out to the car and put it back in the trunk. That little detour got my heart racing and I lost all the tempo I thought I captured on the range LOL.
