I think the Eagles are doing their best to purge themselves of Chip's chumps. Bradford was a gamble, is still a gamble. Bringing him back for another season, while not exactly an ideal situation, was one in which they had to consider. And Bradford is full of himself... wants the big money, wants the long-term contract, despite being an inconsistent at-best performer on a weak team in a weak division. Has yet to win a big game. Has yet to show that he can perform at a reasonable level for two consecutive seasons without getting injured.
I hope Philly keeps his greedy ass now. They ultimately have the leverage... if he doesn't perform, his value (which is extremely overvalued at the moment as-is), plummets. Sit his ass on the bench, let what's left of his stock completely tank, and let the rookie have his baptism by fire.
This punk saw Osweiler (a healthy player who has shown much more promise) leave Denver and cash-in. He thinks he's on that same level, and he's not. The fact of the matter is that he's lucky it's a QB-light league at the moment, where mediocre QB's suddenly feel they're needed. He's the high-mileage used car in a down economy... it's not the car someone scraping to get by wants, but it's all they can afford.
That is Sam Bradford.
