LBlack14 His interview after his round they asked about pain on a scale from 1-10, he said 10/excruciating.
Its a sliding scale relative to the person you ask. Might be the worst pain he's ever experienced, but if he's playing golf I'm sure it isn't anywhere near what most people would define as a "10."
To those with a pampered life, a paper cut might be a 10, y'know? If you've never felt worse pain, how would you know?
He's a trooper regardless, I've just always hated that question. I've had headaches that hurt so bad I threw up and blacked out. Does that mean a less-severe pain in another part of my body isn't a big deal? What is now a 5/6 to me could be a broken bone for all I know.
At my "10" I am not golfing, or seeing, or speaking. And I'm probably not long for consciousness, and I'm questioning whether I am long for this world at all.
