I ordered a new toiletry bag, since the one I've been using over the past several years is starting to look its age... canvas, no less... the wife said to me last week, "that thing looks gross." So I decided to get a new one.
Genuine buffalo leather, 35 bucks via Amazon Prime. I ordered it Tuesday, got it this morning. Looks nice, quality rustic look, quality stitching and construction.
I also ordered some elastic no-tie shoe laces for my golf shoes, since my right hip continues to give me issues with trying to tie my right shoe laces. For those dealing with flexibility issues - this might be an option.
But by far - the most useful thing I've purchased from Amazon over the past several months (as it relates to my right hip limitations) has been this item. I use it daily. For those who have arthritic hip issues - this item definitely makes the strenuous, painful everyday task of putting on a sock a lot more easy.
I continue to be impressed with Amazon's service. I upgraded to their Prime membership two years ago and the service/money saved on shipping has been exceptional. It also came with their Amazon Prime movie service, which I've used on numerous occasions since, via my Apple TV console. It's basically Amazon's version of Netflix, lots of series and movies to choose from.
I've yet to purchase anything from them, based on user reviews, that has failed to meet my expectations.
PS - the solar driveway/walkway lights I purchased back in the spring have been awesome. I no longer have to keep the porch light on at night, they work great. Energy saver!
