Gut punch...and tears from Texas. What can anyone ever say? I do happen to know of your struggle, Jay...not yours, but my own with issues with people that I love dearly. Reading your line that people wouldn't believe what we deal with hit home hard. I can't imagine the loss. I just can't.
I will say this to you and I doubt it will help but God bless you... you were given care of a child who had severe issues and needs for a reason. I do believe that. I'm thankful that son of yours had you and your wife. Could you imagine if he didn't and had some parents who simply didn't care for him because of his issues? How many just like your son roam the streets homeless and helpless looked upon as dregs of society. He was blessed to have you.
I'd talk to you anytime day or night if you felt you needed someone outside your circle to let loose with. I'm sure you have plenty of people to talk to but I am here. Four Six Nine... 684....Ninety Six....Twenty One.
Again, my prayers for your family in this devastatingly difficult time. Thank you for your courage in sharing.
