Mike picks Loyolla and if they win goes to 34
I take Villanova and if they win I go to 33
I pick Villanova over Loyolla and we tie 34-34

Then Mike can pick the Ramblers and win or if Villanova wins and we pick opposite teams in the finals, we can actually end up tied.

I accept your gentleman's challenge and I'll take Loyola to try to close the gap. (Although I'm going to rooting for Michigan). I also think Kansas has a fighter's chance to take down Villanova although they have been the class of the tournament, so far.

Since I'm odd man out I'm sticking with Villanova, that has been my choice all season.

Is it last man standing or total points? If last man standing, yes, you would be correct. I just read the first post and you are correct, so if Loyolla wins in the semis and we both pick Villanova in finals, Mike would win.
