As we know golf is peaks and valleys. I'm on a nice peak run of late. Took a road trip on Monday (held a qualifier at my home course for the Valspar Tournament coming up next month). Played Tarpon Woods which is now owned by former LPGA player Jan Stevenson (saw here there).
Anyway, shot a 78 (par 72) having never played the course before. And today shot a 75 (par 71) at my home course. Should've been a 74. Had a 7 foot birdie putt on #13 and the ball rolled in the center of the cup, only to bounce out after hitting the back of the cup. They recently put new cups in and I expect to see more of this.
Just enjoying the run right now. Could end at anytime, but golf has been fun recently. Oh, brought the Ping G15's out of the moth balls for the last two rounds. I'll never get rid of them.
