sdandrea1 3-inch lizard jammed up against the pump input
That'll do it every time. Can't believe that you already bought one without my input (lol). I have a Karcher with 5 HP Honda engine. Had it for many years. I'm sure this works for all engines that are hard to start, if you haven't run it for a while. If it doesn't start right away. Turn off the switch and give it 3 or 4 slow pulls as if not trying to start it. Then turn on the switch and it should start first pull. Problem is that the float bowels are so small that the gasoline in them evaporates and by slowly pulling the rope start, it refills it.
