Rickochet DC300 the true chrome was way to reflective I don't like true chrome. One of the best club finishes I ever had on clubs was the "shot peen" finish on some Dynacraft Q4 irons. There was no reflection and it was very resistant to bag chatter and dings.
DC300 Rickochet I agree, that’s why I took to knocking down the finish. It looked really good when it was polished back up a little, but the crazy reflection was gone, it was just a shiny satin finish if that makes sense.
Typhoon I prefer satin or some sort of dulled finish. Don't like any of the new black finishes they are using. Chrome just seems to show everything. My TM MC irons I just picked up I hit with the same pads and they barely made a dent in the finish. Somewhat disappointing. Website says they are satin but they look awfully chrommy
sdandrea1 Typhoon Website says they are satin but they look awfully chrommy I love satin too, just the old school guy in me loves the shine. I think it's spelled "chromee"? 😜
Typhoon There's a set of Adams forged irons at my local Golfers Warehouse that look like they spent a month sitting in Muriatic acid.
