Lately I've been taking my 2 year old son to the local Golf Galaxy to get him out of the house, give my pregnant wife a break, and get some practice time in. At the end of every trip we go to the putting area so the boy can try "putt putt" and get some energy out.
Fast forward to today's trip. Since I play hockey left handed, and have been playing hockey since I was 3, I picked up a left handed putter to screw around. Ended up making 6 of 9 from less than 10 feet or so right off the bat. Tried another 30 or so putts and was surprisingly accurate from far away. Was never too far from the hole after the first try. I was basically gripping the putter kinda like a hockey stick and just passing the golf ball at the hole.
So I'm thinking of picking up a LH putter and trying it for a while. I'm not a terrible putter RH, but never felt as comfortable as I did passing the ball.
What ya guys think? Blasphemy? Also, any of you lefties have a decent blade putter laying around you wanna let go for cheap for my experiment?
