Provisional Triggered a memory. About 20 years ago I was having a bad day at work and took a half day off to golf and cool off. As I was putting my shoes on in the parking lot, an 80 year old man asked if I’d join him because he had trouble tracking the ball. He really didn’t need me as every shot was dead straight although his longest of the day was no more than 140 - 150 yards. On a 135 yard par 3, he hit a 3 wood over the pond, into the far bank where it bounded up onto the green and into the hole. He turned and asked if he cleared the pond. He made a hole in one and didn’t see it!
On the round I mentioned from a couple of weeks ago, there were about 5 or 6 shots into the morning sun where I had no idea where my ball went. Fortunately, in every one of those cases it stayed on the line I was aimed.
