Very glad to hear that your fur buddy has bounced back. Years ago our dogs ate any leftovers we had , but they must not be as tough anymore. Or, hopefully we are better informed about how to care for them. We let ours have very little high fat stuff, like fat from meat or greasey food. No bones that might splinter into potential gut piercing shards, and no onion spiced foods. Grapes/rasins are reportedly pretty toxic to canines too.
I admit sharing my breakfast bacon though against vets advice , but only 2 or 3 small pieces. She , Maddie, looks up at with those big baby brown eyes I can't hold out too much from her.
