For those wondering if its related to the movie - yes. Its actually a series of books by Michael Connelly. There will be similarities - but much like Reacher, the series looks to follow one book per 'season'. I'm really liking this model as it gives time to cover a book better than the typical 2 hour constraint of a movie.
Connelly also wrote Bosch. I may have to start reading more of his stuff!
