Just finished Longmire, looking for another series to watch. Have watched Dexter, Lost (twice), Breaking Bad, and a couple others..........

It’s a documentary about how the IOC put medals and image over the well being of the female gymnasts who were being sexually assaulted by Larry Nassar.

This went on for years until a newspaper the Indianapolis Star published a series of stories about the sexual abuse.

There’s one gymnast Maggie Nichols who is Athlete A. Her parent’s went to the head of the IOC Steve Penny regarding their daughter being sexually assaulted by Larry Nassar.

But were told to keep quiet and that an investigation was ongoing. It was all bullshit.

It was obvious that when Maggie wasn’t picked for the Olympic team in 2016 that it was retaliation. Maggie went on to help lead Oklahoma to be NCAA champions.

Really well done as usual on Netflix. It’ll piss you off though.

Rutherford Falls on Peacock is pretty good. Ed Helms is in his wheelhouse with his character. Funny show.

OK you Bosch fans, splain me something. So we're watching season 5 where Bosch goes undercover. Neither Me, my wife or my FIL could figure out why they fly the junkies to the desert just to sit around? I thought they were going to use them as a kind of slave labor or something making fentanyl but they never showed them doing anything but laying around. So why would they go to the expense of flying them somewhere to do nothing?

I believe they were bringing them out there to fill scripts of oxi at pharmacies to sell on the street. The junkies got paid in oxi. If I remember correctly.

Going to watch the Bob Ross documentary tonight. He was the TV artist on PBS back in the early 80’s - early 90’s. Famous for saying things like “happy little trees” etc. when he painted. Sounds boring on the surface, but looks like a good back story from what I’ve read.

Watched this yesterday evening with my wife. It was not at all meant to be a hit-piece against the beloved painter, Bob Ross; quite the opposite actually. It clearly reveals how a brilliantly talented and decent man (Ross) and what should've been HIS legacy, was exploited and had his namesake essentially stolen by a pathetic family (the Kowalski's).

That the Kowalski's were allowed, and continue to be allowed, to make money off of Ross's legacy long after he has passed, especially considering that Ross refused to sign over his namesake and give them any rights to do so without giving his son (Steve) any legacy compensations..

As I watched this, it was just another reminder that one must be very mindful of who he trusts and does business with. Evil and greed prey on the kind and decent.

PS - Mountain Dew did a commercial with Bob Ross's image several months ago, and still airs on occasion today. I can guarantee you that the Kowalski's either threatened to sue them or received some sort of compensation for doing so.

They truly are pieces of crap, the Kowalski's.

Billions Season 2 right now. I can't decide which of these bastards to hate more..............I find myself rooting for Axe! Chucky has issues.

They had a one day mini marathon recently on Showtime. We watched a couple of episodes and it didn't seem to have too many likeable characters.

They got the scripts and filled them in the city and then they flew them out to the desert to do nothing. Makes no sense. I actually looked up the book that season was based on and in a synopsis it said they housed the junkies in the desert? Seems like a lot of expense and danger to fly them back and forth.

The Kowalski's are despicable people. Bob Ross's brother and his last wife he married at the end of his life did not do the right thing. They sold out. I'm sure the Kowalski's threat to sue them had a lot to do with it and they settled for peanuts.

The fact that the Kowalski's have made millions off his name all these years is disgusting. And what they did to the older married couple who painted flowers was horrendous as well.

I used to watch Bob Ross back in the early 80's. That's when there were only a few channels and I watched a lot of PBS on Saturday afternoons in the winter in New England.

Amazing he could paint a whole picture in less than half an hour.
