Anybody watch the pilot of "Big Sky"? I tried it and almost gave up halfway through as it seemed really formulaic. I stuck it out and then...surprise!

I sure didn't see that coming! Ryan Phillipe was advertised as one of the stars of the show and I couldn't believe he got offed in the first episode. Seemed like they were setting the show up to be the mystery of the abductions with a side of the threesome drama. He's been in enough series that I'm surprised he'd sign on for a one episode gig.
