What to watch on Netflix

Just finished Longmire, looking for another series to watch. Have watched Dexter, Lost (twice), Breaking Bad, and a couple others..........

Does anyone have the cheap plan, “Netflix with Ads”. Wondering how it is compared to anything else with ads. Thinking of downgrading to save $$

Yeah, saw where it’s going up. Netflix has increased subscribers by quite a bit. I think it was ~ 19 million
in the last quarter of 2024. We have the no ad plan as well. We hate having to watch ads.

I hate watching the NFL on Amazon because of the ads. Pain to switch out of the App and then go back.

Look forward to reading reviews of The Recruit.

Planned on watching it in one day before renewal but saw today it renewed on the 27th and I'm not paying $25 to watch Season 2.

Hate how Netflix pushes foreign programming because they don't have enough North American content and reshuffles avatars of the programming they do have to hide that it's old and stale.

Contemplated switching to the 7.99 1080P plan with ads but cancellation was better move for us.

I subscribe to Netflix every once in awhile, watch what looks interesting then drop it for a year. I just got it back about a month ago and will keep it another month then dump it. Then I'll try Disney Plus for Daredevil and The Punisher. By then the weather will be getting better and I don't watch much TV.

Yipsy The first 3 episodes of The Night Agent Season 2 are good. Keeps momentum from Season 1 quite nicely.

Getting a little "spread out" in the later episodes as they add new characters that aren't woven into the story, so be patient. It comes together.

I finished it last night. Good. Not as good as Season 1 and nice set up for the confirmed Season 3. 10 episodes way too many for me.

Just started this one. "Lockerbie: A Search for Truth" on Peacock (5 episodes total)

Only 25 minutes into the first episode and it's well acted and compelling despite the difficult subject matter. Based on a true story that some real life family members aren't pleased with. Some stories you can feel more than others and for some reason I feel this one.

Lockerbie is good. Episode 1 and 5 my favorites. The Megrahi/Swire story is amazing.

I see a lot of myself in Jim Swire. What an existence that man had to live after the nightmare. His wife is amazing. She understood him and stood by him all those years.

"Clear Cut" is a 2024 movie starring Alec Baldwin on Peacock. It's rated 3.7 out of 10. I couldn't make it to the end. Only watched to see if someone was dumb enough to cast Alec in a scene involving him and a gun? The marshmallow scene answered my curiosity. Those co-stars are some of the bravest souls alive. Close call.

Just finished, "Shrinking" Season 2 on Apple TV+. If that's the last time I ever see Harrison Ford he saved his very best for last. Powerful scene from him at the end of Season 2's finale.

The final scene for Season 2 just after Harrison Ford's was incredibly beautiful.

Season 3 is confirmed. I hope Harrison Ford is around to film it.

Not a fan of many elements in the show but there's a real heart to it that I love.

It is a great show. And though sounding a little silly, there are some elements of "accuracy" (at a general level that hold true to some therapy "styles".) Otherwise, LMAO at the self-appointed mental health guru.

Vince Vaughn is fun in "Bad Monkey" on Apple TV+. Stupid name for a show but a fun enjoyable ride so far through 3 episodes. Vince Vaughn's character never shuts up and the narrator really adds to the experience.

American Manhunt: OJ Simpson.

The same guy who did the Boston Marathon bombing documentary did this one.

Did learn some new things which is surprising after so many stories on this. They did get Christopher Darden to participate.

Watched The Gray Man last night. Good cast, action, dark humor. Simple plot, but good entertainment.

Enjoyed that one.

I really enjoyed, "The Beekeeper" on Prime. My wife and I were talking about people who take advantage of people being the worst of the worst. I'd seen it awhile back and had her watch it and she enjoyed it. She doesn't like action movies but the subject matter had her glued.
