The Rodgers / Favre meeting was funny. Favre has a different take on it than Rodgers. lol Although Rodgers was stunned they took Love with the first pick, he put that aside and wanted to treat Love better than Favre treated him as far as mentoring etc..
Also thought it was interesting to learn from Favre that Rodgers was the only one he saw who could throw it as well as him.
Rodgers has really come to terms with his career. Poignant that Rodgers accepts that winning isn’t everything.
Side note. Lombardi claims what he meant to say was ‘winning isn’t everything, the will to win is everything.’ Instead of ‘winning isn’t everything, it’s the only thing.’
