Finished Ripley tonight. Was expecting one of those loose-ended endings because all of the other episodes were great. Glad that I was wrong! What a terrific final episode!

One of the better series I've watched on Netflix. Very unpredictable and highly entertaining.

Just watched "Safe" and "The Stranger" on Netflix, both excellent British police dramas.

"Bloodlands" on Acorn is excellent

"The Bodyguard" on Amazon is also excellent

"Brokenwood Mysteries" has a new season starting this Monday, it's worth watching just to see the crazy Russian Medical Examiner who's hot for Mike 🙂

Just watched "Freud's Last Session" last night on Netflix. It was outstanding (and I couldn't care less about "reviewers" or rotten tomatoes in this case). It's a fascinating fiction, starring Anthony Hopkins who, playing Freud, has this fictional meeting and subsequent debate with children's author and Christian theorist/author, CS Lewis. It's an intense encounter and great "debate". If you don't know much other than dime-store thumbnail sketch of Freud, please spare me that nonsense. Those who've studied in the field of Psychology are well aware of both his eccentricities and genius. And please be advised that his cocaine use in the 1880's was quite common. We'd actually all live in a better world if we'd learn to disagree like Freud and Lewis in this under-rated and intriguing film. Highly recommend if not simply for Hopkins' acting.

Walterjn I watched 4-5 seasons but never finished. Same with Sons of Anarchy. We did the same with White Collar but finally finished this month. This is usually because I like something but my wife doesn't.

We're watching that one now, and it's pretty good. Very similar in some respects to Leverage which we also like.

Five Came Back ... I think worth the watch and an interesting piece of history I was not aware of. Aware of supporting the war effort but not these particular directors and "joining" the military to make/film the war/effort. Pretty cool. I am onto the collection and Five Came Back - The Reference Films .... 😲Not for the faint of heart😞

Started Dead Boy Detectives. Great show if you enjoy Neil Gaiman's stuff.
