What to watch on Netflix

Just finished Longmire, looking for another series to watch. Have watched Dexter, Lost (twice), Breaking Bad, and a couple others..........

I watched The Marvels movie last night. I didn't think it was anywhere near as bad as it was made out to be. It really probably just needed a better villain and more exciting ending. Not great, but good enough if you like superhero movies, which I do.

I was a comic book nut as a kid , but I'm finding myself burnt out on Superhero movies. I prefer individual SH's as to opposed to group mash ups and also prefer the more earth bound ones like Batman, Daredevil, The Punisher, Spiderman. No interest in SH's that came on the scene after I was a kid except Punisher. Took my nephew to see Aquaman, meh. He liked it though so it was worth it.

Nope. I ocassionally watch NCIS reruns or Law and Order reruns, but I'm completely unaware of any current series on network TV.

Interesting that I'm not alone. My wife and I tried starting a few series in hopes of finding something we could watch together but found them all lacking. The acting and especially the writing is sub par compared to shows on Amazon, Netflix, etc and it's not close. We did like East New York when it was on but just saw it was cancelled.

I haven't watched much night time network TV in years (except for sports). Have no interest in the shows. The comedy shows suck. Last good one was Seinfeld.

Could be, but never watched it. For me the best comedy in the last 20 plus years has been Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm. The last season is airing now on HBO. Ironically David was co-creator of Seinfeld.

Laughter is an involuntary reaction. I don't find most Network comedies funny. Larry David's character on Curb says and acts like people wish they could say and act.

Like Seinfeld it takes peoples worse qualities (mainly Larry's) and makes something funny about it. Curb is mostly improvised with no written dialogue. Just an outline. It's genius imo.

sdandrea1 it was pretty good with some interesting twist/s. Had not heard of her/story! Different in that it's a female "narco". I thought the actress playing Giselda was amazing in that role!

Amazon Prime now has commercials in their shows. You have to pay more to have no commercials. So far, the commercials have been very few and far between. And most of the commercials have been promoting their own product.
