If you want to try some awesome shafts, not just "for the money" but all-around great feeling, check out the Project X LZ Iron shafts that Diamond Tour is selling for just $12.50/ea! Very easy-loading shaft, great for someone with a smooth swing tempo. I know they're really light at 58g and have a fairly high amount of torque at 4.9°, but I hit a set of them that I put together for a customer and I was SHOCKED at how much I actually liked them! I did tip them 1" so they played more like a 6.0, but I actually liked the feel better than my AXE XCaliber X Tour shafts which were $30/ea! I'm going to shaft up a demo Sterling 7 iron to compare numbers side by side to my current setup, and if things look good I may be making a switch myself!
