Any feedback on these? Thinking about putting them in my Sterlings.

I tried a set of these and they were ok. No better than anything else I have played. I was kind of disappointed after reading how great these were. I find the FST 115 shafts had a better feel for me.

The 1050's were so good I dumped my graphite shafts and went back to steel.
As I lost distance over time, the 1050's were replaced by the 950's and now down to 70gr graphite.

Rickochet Any idea about the difference between the FST 115 stepless and FST 115 stepped shafts...other than price?

I have never played the stepless shafts. I tend to reuse shafts and I lose track of tip trimming with stepless shafts. With the stepped shafts I always know it had a 13" parallel tip section. Can't do that with a stepless.

govols The 115 pro stepless is a smoother feeling shaft similar to RP Rifle.

pellmell I agree, not that the 115 was harsh, the Pro was just slightly smoother, also has a slightly softer tip.

I have never played a Nippon shaft that did not love. Most recently I shafted some Ben Hogan heads with some 950s and they are the closest to graphite in feel as any shaft I have tried. They were stock shafts in my 2007 Cobra FP irons and they were buttery smooth. I would recommend them.
