Heavy graphite iron shaft?

Any suggestions on a heavy (95 gram or heavier) iron shaft in "A" flex?

I don't think it exists. I remember that graman had something, maybe the cf 300 or 310, but that may have been only in an R/S combo. You'll have more luck looking for steel.

Well, if you can't find what you're looking for you could always soft step a reg flex shaft a couple of times, this would get you pretty close to an A flex.

Just did mine as did LB with Matrix 84 but they were not nearly that heavy but are stout for Sr flex. IMO Reasonable $ too.

I put R flex Kujohs in a set of ZING heads last year. They worked out pretty good. 👍

I have added weight to a golf shaft by twisting 3/16" cotton braided chord inside the shaft and tamping it in place with another shaft or a dowel.
Some 550 parachord may also work. I am not sure which is heavier though.
I recently added 20g to a driver shaft with a bungee chord but it is just inserted straight in and it wiggles a bit much.
But you could probably add up to 25 or 30g to a graphite shaft using cotton chord.

The XCaliber Tour X graphite shafts were some of the best heavy graphite shafts ever made IMHO (they came in 85, 95 & 105). When I was testing shafts to put into my Sterlings, I liked the Tour X 95 MUCH better than the Recoil 95 or SteelFiber i95. They had better feel, better consistency, and they seemed more balanced. Too bad they stopped making them, and Golfworks have taken down all but the 105g Stiff from the website, and even those are showing as "backordered" so who knows if they'll actually be getting any more or not.

I would jump on that Kujoh deal that was posted earlier, those a great shafts and a HELL of a deal at just $9! Those were $45-$50 shafts when they came out 6-7 years ago.

customgolfcenter Those appear to be stiff tipped shafts though. Wouldn't fit most players.

G Loomis made a heavy iron shaft, have them in a set and they feel like Dynamic Gold. Don’t think they are still around

I know it's called the Kujoh 95, but weight spec on the A flex is 87g!

ode always have to watch that, I have the X flex in a couple of clubs, it’s a nice shaft, especially at DTG prices

I'll 2nd the TourX shaft. Have had them in my sticks for several years now and love them. Pretty sad I won't be able to get the heaviest shaft in the xtra stiff anymore 😕

I found a good 95 gram graphite shaft. Just turns out it's 100 percent steel....lol
