Typhoon yeah exactly. I heard about it because I was playing in a nine hole comp yesterday and where one hole crosses another, I had a quick chat with a guy who owns a local golf shop. He said he wasn't blown away by the G400 when he hit it but there is a 460 version coming out in Feb which he'll try.
I'm loving mine and if anyone can notice 15cc's size difference, they are telling fibs. Yesterday here was cold and wet and I'm hitting this thing to the same or similar spots I hit my G30 in the summer. The air is damp and heavy and there is no run so roll on next summer. My son (also using a G30) was starting to match or outdrive me but now I'm well past him again every time - a mixture of consistency and increased length. It's not just the length, I'm in play far more often, the dispersion is great. I'm delighted I'm seeing the trackman results play out on the course because I'm always sceptical about fittings. I did 2 sessions with a good guy and got the same results twice.
The set up I have with the Hzrdus shaft just feels great - the feel off the head is solid (think Alpha V2, that's what it reminds me of) and the shaft is tight. I haven't hit a driver this well in a long time.
