Best Week of Golf (for me)

Shot a 75 on Monday, 80 on Wednesday and another 75 yesterday (Friday). My course is a par 71. Won 1st place Quota both times with the 75's (plus 7). Had 9 birdies for the week. Driving and putting was the key.

Came within a couple of inches of a hole in one yesterday (won the greenie and skin though). Probably my best week of golf. I'm going to ride this peak as long as it lasts.

Bad news is my Quota is now 31.🙁

So... what are you sensing that you're doing differently that's allowed the the better driving and the better putting?

The Quota is what it is. Just keep playing well and the score will take care of itself. 🙂

Driving for me is all about tempo. I have a tendency to get too quick in transition (with all clubs). Awhile back I narrowed my stance when putting and it's been working very well.

Shot a 76 today (38-38) with 3 birdies. Handicap is down to a 7.9. Riding a wave right now.

I'm glad you are having fun. I suck lately. Today's round was unspeakable other than about 3 or 4 shots. Not holes... shots.

Back to normal today. Shot an 83. But, I did have two birdies and had my name on all 4 greenies. Won one of those in our game and had my name on two for the inside (Pro Shop) game.

Well... I'm playing a little more myself and the scores are slowly coming around. Got a tournament on Saturday at the club, and praying I can channel a little bit of your good play my way.

The good news is that I'm putting lights-out. The bad news is that it really hasn't reflected it on the scorecard.

Good to hear! I shot my best round ever yesterday. 38. I have been playing so much better after a playing partner noticed a swing flaw and told me. It has changed my game. I too was too quick in transition and wasn't completing my backswing. My only swing thought now is get my shoulder under my chin. Worked wonders.
