Cristie Kerr as far as the golfer. She very well may be a tremendous human being outside of golf for all I know... of which I do not know much about her personal life. But on the course - she acts like she was weened on a pickle, and not one of the more pleasant personalities in women's golf. Hard for me to root for.
As far as overall sports figures.... I guess I would have to say LeBron James, the pioneer of the modern-day Super Team movement.. didn't feel obligated to notify teammates when he left Cleveland for Miami back in 2010. Then didn't feel obligated to notify anyone that he was going back to Cleveland back in 2014. And suddenly felt offended when Kyrie Irving decided that he no longer wanted to play with LeBron and wanted to be traded back this past summer?
Hard to compare him to Jordan in the popular best-ever discussions. And his unwillingness to build teams around him, in lieu of seeking out teams to create Super Teams.... He will undoubtedly leave Cleveland within the next year to seek out another star-studded team where he can play the leading role and receive all of the credit should the team he joins embarks on an NBA title season.
Jordan wasn't motivated to relocate to teams with better talent. Neither did Bird, neither did Magic. Neither did Duncan.
This will always be the stain on LeBron's otherwise impressive career. Great player, but one who preferred to buy NBA titles via ownership money versus making the mediocre players around him better.
