Wear on wedges

Have some dark (black) wedges with good amount of wear.... near completely gone on soles. Would like to take the entire finish off to match.

Any recommendations on how to go about it?

I've used stripping gel and sometimes a wire wheel on painted clubs with fairly good success. Wanted to consider all options, though.

You could bead blast the dark finish off,then sand and polish the sole,hosel and edges of the face.
Leave the face/ grooves alone after b/b.
