High maintenance: which would explain my recent rise in index - my practice time was abandoned last year for other endeavors. I still play once or twice a week, but the 9 hole league on Thursdays and practice time on others days were abandoned.
I really believe I would be low maintenance had I started the game young though. Not growing up with the game and not taking it up until 30 (48 now) requires more practice from me.
My comparison would be to soccer. I grew up with it, played it all my life. It took little to keep my touch and feel for the game as I got older. There were times when I was away from the game for months at a time, but it only took me a game or so before I was back at full pace and playing at a high level.
