I was gawking around the aisles of GG yesterday and came across the new MaxFli irons.
Simple looking, satin finish with only the 'MaxFli' and 'forged' wordings on the back, in black. Kind of a longish head, heel-toe, not oversized at all. Grooves are the same as any Maltby forged iron.
I've not seen, in hand, any of the Maltby heads, but these are very much like the TS3 model pics. They did have both the XC2 & XC3 with the XC3 having a wider sole & a hair more offset as the only noticeable difference.
At $1000/set (only 5-AW), and knowing GW helped with the design......most likely 100% of their design from comparing......I can imagine GW laughing all the way to the bank. IF they did a flat deal, not a % deal. People 'that know' will never purchase these clubs. Any choice of shafts, whether steel or graphite, is an added $$ upgrade with TT being stock steel and Recoil Dart (R flex only) stock graphite.
Might have another look in Nov. when they are only $399.🤔
