With all due respect, my friend... had you read the third paragraph of my recent post yesterday evening, which read, "I don't blame LeBron for losing this series to Golden State" - nothing else really needs to be said.
LeBron played heroically.
LeBron built a super team when in Miami. Then, when it became obvious that he could no longer win in Miami - he jumped ship and went to Cleveland where he did the process all over again with trying to construct a Super Team around him there in Cleveland.
So to hear the LeBron homers complain about the Warriors doing the same with acquiring Durant is quite laughable. And then to go further with devaluing Durant, despite his Jordan-like effort throughout the series with exception of one game, is even more laughable. Which is why I said "turnabout is fair play."
But you'll never hear me try to make the argument that Durant is overall better than LeBron. You'll hear me make the argument that LeBron's legacy is in serious danger of falling well short of MJ's, but not that Durant has been a greater player throughout his career.
That's just not the case, and I would never try to refute just how great a player LeBron has been.
I was simply pointing out that the Warriors gave LeBron a dose of his own medicine.
