Fairway Wood Suggestions

Can anyone suggest a low profile, low center of gravity, get the ball up quick, fairway wood heads?

Would not classify as low profile ie. 929, (doesn't matter with this club) but definitely without doubt, Callaway Big Bertha V Series. Guaranteed to launch off the fairway. I lost all confidence in fw's and went that route last year.

I think I have it figured out now.....finally, and now going to a 929 4 wood.

If these don't launch.......lessons are required. The original V sole of Callaway old is magic.

I bought a Heavenwood for my wife and stuck it in her bag. After not playing for over a year even she said "wow"!

If you decide to go that route I have a 3 and Heavenwood R with 4 rounds or Callaway Pre-Owned.

Other....low profile....SMT 3309. My wife's previous woods.

accufitgolf It has already been said, but the Super Concord is probably the go-to for that "low profile, low center of gravity, get the ball up quick, fairway wood" category.

Wishon 929 is a great fw head and it has a low profile and low center of gravity. Whether or not it gets the ball up quick depends on your swing. I have a slow swing speed and am a sweeper of the ball and this head hits the ball high for me. Driver SS is around mid 80's at best. My 929 is 16*

Adams Tight-Lies fairway wood, either 16º for 3wood or 19º for 5wood. Low profile, low center of gravity. Stupid-easy to hit, providing the shaft flex is right for the according swing speed.

It is a very underrated golf club that offers a low-profile, high-launch trajectory. And they're extremely inexpensive, compared to the newer stuff anyway.

If you can find one an old Golfsmith original - XPC3 Rough Rider - with the right shaft for your swing is stupid easy to hit. One of my favorites, don't know why I ever sold mine but just recently found and purchased a 7+ on Ebay which I shafted into a 5 wood length - great...

An oldie but goodie is the Super Concord. The only negative is if you are in a fluffy lie or tee it too high it is easy to get under it. But, they are very solid. VG carries them but is out of most lofts. Monark has them. Cobra Baffler Rail F, PING K15, and 2007 TM Burner. All are low profile launchers!

Adams Tight Lies , Orlimar Trimetal, TM V-steel, Callaway steelhead all were easy to get in the air that I have tried and used.

UPDATE

I built up the Hireko Vespa 3 and 5 woods with a cheap Graphite Design shaft. Only have one round in with them but they seem to work well.

I was concerned about the smallish head but it really looks like an overgrown hybrid and I have always been comfortable with hybrids. So far, so good.

Hope you are still having good experience with your new woods.
I reshafted my old Tmag 200 Steel 15* wood with a driver pulled cut to 42" YS6 GD from another Buzzer here and am having good luck with it. Margining steel face is hot on a good strike easily getting close to 200 yds with my geezer 72 yrs old swing . Think I'm just cheap too, but like the recycled junk. Definitely hit shorter shafted woods better.

I'm still playing the old tried and true Taylormade V-Steels. I've never hit a better fairway metal.

A new addition to their product line for Value Golf is their single length fairway woods. I built the 3 wood with a Fubuki 65 AX fairway shaft. I have had it in the bag for about 4 rounds. It is one of the most solid fairway woods I have ever hit. I have no trouble getting it in the air from a tight lie.
