Evidently that’s our calling in life. 😸
It’s kind of like the story of a guy walking down the beach and seeing thousands of star fish baking and dying in the sun.
He sees an old man picking up one star fish at a time and throw them back in the ocean.
The guy says to the old man, why are you doing that? You can’t possibly save them all.
The old man says, yeah that’s true, but I can save what I can……. That’s us only with stray cats. Have saved many since being in Florida.
Can’t take them all in and have brought many to no kill shelter’s. Have paid for spayed and neutering etc. at are own expense as well.
My wife and I are atheists. But I tell people if we’re wrong and find ourselves in line at St. Peter’s gate. We’ll get waved to the front for what we’ve done for our feline friends. 😺
