Lexi is clearly the most dominant golfer on the planet, male or female. I just hope she can continue her form throughout the remainder of the season. Those of us American-based viewers who've followed the LPGA over the years have patiently waited for an American player to step up and deliver. It appears that our patience might be finally rewarded.
And furthermore... Lexi could very well be the only female player who pushes the argument regarding the advantages of technology and how it has impacted the sport. She generates a lot of club-head speed, her smash-factor is off the charts. Can't remember when an LPGA player hit the ball as consistently long as she does.
Lexi might actually be the first LPGA player, in recent history anyway, who plays a game with which many accomplished male amateurs couldn't possibly fathom aspiring to.
We might be on the precipice of an Annika-like reign on the LPGA tour.
