Most of my core setup hasn't changed since the start of the season. Still gaming the Ping G30 irons, really hitting them well. I did swap out the Adams 19º for a new Ping G 22º, and took out the 3wood and replaced it with the 5wood. I also swapped out my Ping wedges for Titleist Vokey M-grind's, 54º and 58º.
I also decided to throw the Ping G30 4-iron back in the bag, which has proven to be a very good decision. My rationale is the 22º hybrid works great as long as there's no hurting wind... but if there's wind, I tend to balloon the ball just a little too often. So that's why I've thrown the 4-iron back in the bag... I can hit it lower and control the flight of the ball much easier into the wind from 180-190 yards. Since we have three par3's that play in the 175-180 range (with trouble around the greens) I feel much more confident hitting 4-iron if there's wind.
I'm pretty satisfied with the bag at the moment. I might swap out the 5wood for the 3wood for the upcoming club championship, since we're playing from the tips and might need it on the 210-215 yard par3's. Then again, I might just keep it as-is since I hit the 5wood much better and just deal with it should I come up short. Fortunately there's no trouble in the front of those greens, whereas anything more than 10 yards right or left is essentially a water ball.
